Eminoglu Lab is an academic research group focused on understanding and engineering biological systems at the DNA, RNA, and protein levels, independent of organismal boundaries. The lab conducts both medically and industrially oriented research, with particular emphasis on the microbial production of high-value molecules through metabolic engineering and synthetic biology approaches. In addition, the group works on molecular characterization, genetic diversity, and DNA fingerprinting studies, particularly in plant systems such as tea (Camellia sinensis). Research activities also extend to epigenetics, genomics, and bioinformatics, aiming to better understand complex biological processes at the molecular and genetic levels.
